Savinho will be involved in the first-ever clash between Manchester City and Real Madrid on Tuesday, having previously only appeared on TV.

Brazilian forward Savinho says facing Real Madrid in the Champions League play-offs will be a tough game for City, as Los Blancos have a habit of doing well in the competition, but City have a chance of making it if they can capitalise on their chances.

‘I used to watch Man City play Real Madrid on TV when I played for Atletico and now it’s my turn to experience this moment,’ the Brazilian forward said. ‘There weren’t many options in the draw, only Bayern and Real Madrid, two great teams, and we were facing Real Madrid. ‘

Savinho then revealed how difficult it was to talk to his สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ teammates and hear what he heard from playing against Real Madrid.

‘I spoke with Bernardo (Silva) and the Real Madrid players when I was with them in the national team and they told me that sometimes, with the strength of their defense, we could say they were going to lose 0-2, 0-3 and the game was not over.’

‘They know they can do what they’ve done in the Champions League every time – turn things around in the last five minutes of the game.’

‘We have to stay focused and take advantage of the chances when we have them, that will be very important. I learned that from Girona, we played very well but we didn’t take advantage of the chances and when they did they decided the game.’

‘We should have gone into the next round with more confidence and not played the playoffs with Real Madrid. And remember that Real Madrid should not have played the playoffs either, out of respect for the other teams.’
