Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was delighted after his side beat Bayern Munich 2-1, saying the late winner reflected the team’s philosophy of fighting until the end.

“More than the result, I would like to focus on the way we played. Bayern are a very strong team but we fought them with determination, courage and aggression.”

“Bayern tried to put pressure on us เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย but we played excellent football. Both goals started with our goalkeeper having the ball in his hands. He could have hesitated but instead he started moving from the back. “

“We knew we had to start the game against Bayern by keeping the ball, not letting them play and making things difficult for them. Bayern tried very hard in the second half but our team remained focused and sharp.”

“Scoring in the 88th minute shows how much we want to continue playing our football and the principles we have been using for almost four years. “

“We also deserve credit for the belief in winning until the very end, despite conceding just minutes before.”

Finally, Inzaghi praised Inter’s mindset and ability to recover from painful results, such as the one at Parma.

“In the one and a half days we had to prepare, we focused on taking possession away from Bayern without just booting it long.

“We came here with personality. In the first half we kept the ball well, then Bayern pushed, but we stayed sharp.

“That late goal shows just how much we were in the game – playing with the same principles we’ve followed for nearly four years.”
