Keita has struggled for form since his £52.75m move from RB Leipzig in 2018, making just 127 appearances for Liverpool in five years, almost half of which came as a substitute.
The midfielder is expect to leave the Reds on a free transfer this summer. And according to the latest reports, Milan is ready to convince Keita to join the army.
The Guinea international was brought to Anfield in the summer of 2018. With plenty of expectation after some superb performances in the Bundesliga. But he failed to live up to the hype in the Premier League.
Keita had high expectations when he joined Liverpool after impressing with Leipzig in Germany.
But the 28-year-old midfielder was unable to impress. Despite winning the Premier League and Champions League, and having to constantly face injuries.
It is understood that Leipzig would also like to bring him back to the Bundesliga as well, but Milan are now stepping up to secure the Guinean’s signature.
Leipzig reportedly tried to sign him in January, but Jurgen Klopp stood in the way of Keita’s mid-season move.
However, there have been no signs that Keita will sign a new contract at Anfield and he is free to speak to pre-contracts with clubs abroad.
